French Lieutenant who first introduced coffee

the other day, the weather was perfect and i took a walk to gertrude street. i was excited as having heard that 7 seeds' new baby just opened a day before, i was eager to check out De Clieu. the place is a lil small, but just big enough to grab a cup of good coffee and just relax and chill outdoors, on this ledge/bench area that gives it a really nice vibe to watch the day go by. anyway, i had a cafe latte as usual, and i have to say 7 seeds really make the best coffee. i had an ice coffee after that and it was very good too. good coffee makes me happy. very satisfied :D

the previous time i came here, it was so packed i had to wait for 30 mins so i left and headed to dead man espresso nearby, which wasn't very good. the coffees i tried today were not the most fantastic but the pork belly, the famous pork belly was really really good, though a tad too spicy but i guess its just me. the whole vibe of the place feels a lil like 7 seeds, just that they have awesome food here, unlike 7 seeds' peasant offerings. having said that, i miss 7 seeds coffee.

good morning world. it's sunday! time for a good breakfast eh? too bad i'm just going to bed right now. hahaha. anyway had coffee at miss jackson, charming charming place at st kilda. coffee is just alright, will be back for the food when my stomach feels like it.

a place located right beside a tram stop. (mart is tram spelled backwards :D) charming place, the food is alright, coffee not very good.

huge ass breakfast with everything! its alright

just woke up and off i went to 65 degrees. nice unpretentious place with good service, good coffee and pretty reasonably priced food. best part of it all, it's pretty near home!

coffee expedition: 7 seeds

it has been a difficult day. having just moved into our apartment and making many trips up and down the streets of melbourne, we felt the need to have a good cuppa to take the blues away. coffee was pretty damn good, everything was just right! no wonder they are famous. the same cannot be said about the food though.
