after class today, had brunch at Wild Honey, a place i've been wanting to try as i've heard good reviews about the breakfast from around the world. if you know me well you probably know that i love breakfast and i can eat it anytime, so whats not to love about an all day breakfast place? well, the whole vibe of wild honey is kinda nice, not excellent but kinda not bad, laid back, relax, chill, a little dark and all. service staff are quite nice, especially the chinese girl at the cashier.there's however a very long waiting time, up to 45mins because of the limited number of seats. (the place is kinda small) we were lucky though, walked around for about 5 mins and got called back.
the prices are pretty expensive but if they are really good, it's ok. but sadly, they are just okay. i had this 18 dollars gallic breakfast that has like toast, scrambled eggs and some baby tomatoes. like seriously, WTF? toast and scrambled eggs(forget the tomatoes if you don't like them much) for 18 dollars? i can get a PRIVE big breakfast that has like every single shitzz in breakfast land. over at cedele wheellock i can get their big breakfast with tea or coffee to go along. scrambled eggs are okay, a little tasteless and they concentrated the salt in the middle, so strange. i think my meal is worth like 6.90 at hatched and it most prob comes with sausage.
i also cant stand places that serve latte in glasses with no handle. like i'm not drinking orange juice i need a bloody handle.
yup, not going back. next on the list, ippudo above wild honey.
btw, i've cleaned all the gum off my camera, with the help of some industrial agent, and it'll wake from its coma tomorrow!
